The layout step is the beginning of the full size scale production, and it is the last point to make minor mechanical changes to the project. Our experience helps us to locate potential failure points due to impractical scale issues. Two identical drawings are created, carefully numbering each piece by color. One of these drawings is cut to create the pattern, and allowing a small amount of space for the lead joints. The other sheet is used for layout of the final project.

In the beginning, the work is scaled up from the original concept art. Sometimes, this is done manually for very intricate designs.

Subtle change are made to orient the grain of the glass to enhance the appearance.
